Drama Learning Center Presents FAME, Opens 1/15/2010

FAME, the musical based on the motion picture and the long-running television series is set to take the stage at Drama Learning Center ! This production, performed by Teaching Young Actors, DLC's Teen Professional Company, is the bittersweet but ultimately inspiring story of a diverse group of students as they commit to four years of grueling artistic and academic work at New York City's celebrated High School for the Performing Arts. With candor, humor and insight, the show explores the issues that confront many young people today: issues of prejudice, identity, self-worth, literacy, and perseverance.
