Center Stage to Host POSTCARD FROM THE STOOP, June 8-9
In homage to the Griswolds, and intrepid, idealistic road warriors everywhere, Stoop Storytelling will present Postcards from The Stoop: A Live Radio Show about cross-country jaunts, Chevy Chase-style family vacations, and two weeks in paradise (or hell!) next weekend, June 8 and 9, at Center Stage.
The show is jam-packed with live radio show action: sketches with sound effects performed onstage; true, personal vacation tales; and music from the delectable Egg Babies Orchestra.
At a touching moment in "Vacation," Clark Griswold says, "When I was a boy, just about every summer we'd take a vacation. And you know, in 18 years, we never had fun."
The shows start at 8pm each night, with cocktails and live music from The Egg Babies from 7pm.
CENTERSTAGE is located at 700 N. Calvert Street, Baltimore, MD 21202.
General admission tickets are $20 each (plus $3 service charge) from stoopstorytelling.com or 410-332-0033
