BWW Preview: THE SOUND OF MUSIC at John Carroll Theatre
By: Scott Serio
The John Carroll School has a wonderful reputation for putting on scholastic musical theatre shows, but this summer they have ventured into new territory with their inaugural Summer Community Theatre production - and they picked a family favorite. Rodgers & Hammerstein collaborated on many musicals, but the one that comes to mind for many fans as their favorite is The Sound of Music.
Starting this Friday, July 8th, the Summer Community Theatre will have a two weekend run of the musical based the memoir of Maria Von Trapp, The Story of the Trapp Family Singers. For show and ticket information, visit the John Carroll website at https://johncarroll.org/soundofmusic
