Adventure Brings The Holiday Classic FROSTY THE SNOWMAN to the StageAdventure Theatre MTC (ATMTC), recent recipient of three 2017 Helen Hayes Awards, brings to the stage the tale of winter joy, Frosty the Snow Man, directed by Jason Schlafstein.

Based on popular song written by Walter "Jack" Rollins and Steve Nelson, this beloved tale of a snowman "dancing through life" is recommended for all ages and opens November 19, 2017. Tickets are $19.50 each and can be purchased online at www.adventuretheatre-mtc.org or by calling 301-634-2270.

Do you want to build a snow man? How about watching him spring to life in front of you for one day of adventures before he melts away? In this merry wintertime romp, chock-full of chuckles and comic antics, Frosty gallops into the hearts of kids and adults alike- even the heart of one skeptical cop- through his uproarious antics.

Adventure Theatre MTC's Artistic Director, Michael J. Bobbitt, says of the show, "This show is just another feather in Adventure Theatre MTC's magical hat of holiday favorites. The delight of seeing a snowman come to life will sure to transfix children of all ages and backgrounds."

Director Jason Schlafstein says of the production, "Frosty's time on this earth is so limited, just like our own. I truly want to play up the joy of life in this production and the importance of living every moment to the fullest with adventure and humor. The holidays are a perfect time for that."

Frosty the Snow Man is recommended for all ages. Tickets are $19.50 each with Flexpass, group, and field trip rates available. The press performance will be Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 2pm. All performances will take place at Adventure Theatre MTC, 7300 MacArthur Blvd, Glen Echo, MD, 20812 in the historic Glen Echo Park.
