SAG-AFTRA National President Ken Howard will receive The Los Angeles Police Protective League's Eagle and Badge Foundation 'In the Line of Duty' Award at their 12th annual gala on Nov. 16.

The film, written by Audrey Wells, follows 'a father and daughter on the island of Manhattan as it breaks loose and sails across the Atlantic Ocean.'

The season finale of THE AMAZING RACE will be broadcast Sunday, Dec. 8 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT). The final four Teams start in Tokyo where they'll find themselves rolling through a human bowling competition and stripping down for a phone call at the bottom of a giant fish bowl. Ultimately, the final three Teams will sprint to the finish line in Alaska for the one million dollar prize. This season's edition is averaging 9.67 million viewers, 2.4/06 in adults 18-49 and 3.2/07 in adults 25-54.

MTV is giving viewers a reason to stay in on Saturday, November 16 as it kicks-off “Sofa Saturday with Chris & Carly” starting at 2:00 p.m. ET/PT, hosted by MTV's favorite “Girl Code” and “Guy Code” couple, Chris Distefano and Carly Aquilino. Carly and Chris will host the movie-packed day, as Chris agrees to watch 'girly' movies with his girlfriend all day (as long as she watches football later). MTV will air films ladies love, including “The House Bunny,' starring Anna Faris and Emma Stone, “Clueless,” starring Alicia Silverstone and Paul Rudd, and the MTV premiere of the film “Beastly” featuring Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer. NBC Sports Group's Fight Night series returns this Saturday, November 16 at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC with a top-level slate of live boxing action. The evening's two-bout card is headlined by heavyweights Vyacheslav “Czar” Glazkov (15-0-1, 11 KOs) of Lugansk, Ukraine against Garrett “The Ultimate Warrior” Wilson (13-6-1, 7 KOs) of Philadelphia, Pa. Olympic bronze medalist and unbeaten Glazkov is determined to continue his streak and make an impression as he faces former USBA cruiserweight champion Wilson.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lopez is currently developing an hour-long musical drama for The CW, with THE WONDER YEARS' Bob Brush and Mel Harris set to write. Lopez will produce.

HBO has signed John Oliver to star in a topical comedy series slated to launch in 2014, it was announced today by Michael Lombardo, president, HBO Programming. Presenting a satirical look at the week in news, politics and current events, the weekly show will debut on Sunday nights.

AMC announced today that it renewed its original Western drama Hell on Wheels for an expanded fourth season. For its third season, Hell on Wheels was moved to Saturday – a day that AMC has traditionally devoted to classic Western films and television shows – and the show attracted a larger audience than it had in its second seasonon Sunday nights. In its third season, Hell on Wheels delivered an average audience of 3.3 million viewers, live and with three days of time shifting.

It also attracted one of the most upscale audiences on DIY Network, ranking as the #2 upscale program among M25-54 - behind the pop icon and knock-out home renovator's other series, Vanilla Ice Project.
