Hi! I feel like every week I come to write one of these, I get slightly more stressed.

today I went right back into the swing of things after a much-needed three-day break.

So this week has quite possibly been the most hectic thus far in my college career. Over Spring Break, I got a facebook message from a junior BFA Acting major, Silas, asking me to read for Rosannah Deluce in his and senior BFA MT major Kelsey Aycock's production of Brilliant Traces, by Cindy Lou Johnson. I had a cold read audition with my friend Caleb Gerber, and we were cast in the show! Yay!

I'm writing this post at 10:00PM with an hour left in Monday night Spring Awakening rehearsal. Today we had a music review since it's the first day back from spring break (which is why I didn't write a post last week; hear about me sitting on the couch watching Rupaul's Drag Race All Stars 3).

Hi! So this week was particularly eventful for many reasons oh my goodness! First of all, rehearsals for Spring Awakening began Monday night, and I'm so thrilled to be involved.

Ah Hi! The semester is definitely beginning to kick into high gear! I've had an assessment in almost all of my classes over the past week, and Spring Awakening rehearsals start this upcoming Monday.

After writing my previous post, I finished a wonderful week at KCACTF! My friend and fellow freshman Kelley, as well as my lovely dance tutor Alexa made it to the final six in the Musical Theatre Initiative, which meant that they got to perform at the closing night Gala in front of all the festival attendees.

Hi everyone! I'm a little late this week on my post because on Tuesday I rode down to Americus, Georgia for KCACTF (Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival).

Hi, y'all! This last week was crazy oh my goodness! Over the weekend, I went to one of my first professional auditions, trained to be a Standardized Patient, and went to a two-and-a-half-hour dance call for the Dance Showcase in April. All wonderful things, and I'm already exhausted!

Hey y'all (oh goodness I say y'all now, what has the south done to me?!) We're currently over a full week in, and the work is escalating at a stressful but manageable level.

Ah! I only just finished the first day of classes and we're already back in the full swing of things!

Upon arrival on August 18th, I was initially flooded with the anxiety that comes with living away from home for the first time. I'm fairly outgoing, but the thought of making new friends, establishing a positive reputation both academically and socially, and creating a new home for myself was daunting. Luckily, I'm a Musical Theatre major, so my first weekend on campus was not lonely whatsoever.
