Student Blogger: E.J Kovacs-Morgan

Hello! My name is E.J Kovacs-Morgan. I'm currently a freshman Acting B.F.A major at the University of Southern California in lovely Los Angeles. I was born and raised in sunny San Diego, go Padres! I love the beach, my favorite color is red, my favorite movie is The Grand Budapest Hotel, though that changes depending on the day. My favorite meal is any variation of meat and potatoes, steak and mashed potatoes, burgers and fries, a nice beef stew, etc. My favorite city in the world is Vienna, and my favorite album is Ella Fitzgerald Sings the Rodgers and Hart Songbook. Some of my favorite musicals are: MY FAIR LADY, CABARET, A CHORUS LINE, SHE LOVES ME, INTO THE WOODS, and COMPANY. I have three ultimate goals in life: perform Shakespeare at The Globe in London, perform on Broadway, and write a Broadway show. Thank you for joining me on this college journey. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for us! Don't be afraid to reach out if you have any questions. I love meeting new people, especially those who're rowing in the same boat.

Student Blog: Who Would've Thought Going Back to College Means Going Back To School?

'...yes, obviously, I knew college meant going to school. Yet it seemed I forgotten that through the whirlwind that was welcome week, moving in, missing home every five minutes only to love being at college the next five, going to school-sponsored events, meeting people, asking them the big-three-hot-ticket questions of the month: “What’s your name? Where’re you from? What’s your major?” and of course, the hidden fourth question that was only asked if the rocket-science-geometric-engineering major matched your acting major vibe: “What’s your Instagram? We should be friends!”
