This morning, The New Victory Theater learned that the 12-member cast and crew for Elephant, by Dodgy Clutch (UK) and The Market Theatre (South Africa), are able to fly from the UK to New York this Friday, which means that public performances on Saturday, April 24 and Sunday, April 25 are no longer cancelled. Elephant is now scheduled to open on April 24 and run through May 2.

International dance hit BURN THE FLOOR is set to take the West End stage this summer after an extended Broadway run last year. Brian Fortuna and Ali Bastian of the UK's Strictly Come Dancing will be featured in the West End production of the show, which will run from July 21st through September 4th.

Grammy nominated musician Lisa Loeb's musical Camp Kappawanna is set to make it's world premiere this summer at Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami, Florida from June 17th through the 27th. After the musical's engagement in Miami, it will play at the Epstein Center for the Arts at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida from July 1st through the 3rd.

Seems like the cast of GLEE can add one more excited party to the 'Madonna' episode airing tomorrow, April 20 at 9:00pm on FOX, and that is the Queen of Pop herself. Says Madonna of the cast: 'The entire cast was amazing. They're all so talented. I especially loved Sue Sylvester and Kurt Hummel's characters.'

The soloNOVA Arts Festival is the longest running festival for solo performers in New York City which celebrates innovative individuals who push the boundaries of what it means to be an artist, aims to redefine the solo form and uniquely invigorates the audience through the time-honored tradition of storytelling. soloNOVA has previously been home to such diverse artists as Taylor Mac (The Be[a]st of Taylor Mac), Kim Wayans (A Handsome Woman Retreats), Roger Bonair-Agard (Masquerade: calypso and home), Madi Disefano (Popsicle's Departure 1989), Julia May Jonas (Take Heart), Kate McGovern (Dreaming of Kitchens) Jeff Grow (Creating Illusion), Red Bastard (Red Bastard is a Star), and Mike Daisey (2009 soloNOVA Artist of the Year). This year, eight performers will round out the mainstage offerings with comedy, dance theatre, storytelling, music, multi-character thrillers, musical comedies, and bilingual cabaret.

Feinstein's at Loews Regency, the nightclub proclaimed 'Best of New York' by New York Magazine and 'an invaluable New York institution' by The New York Post, will continue its all-star Spring 2010 season with the debut of Tony Award nominated Broadway star Kerry Butler for one night only on April 19. For her show at Feinstein's she'll be singing selections from 'Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust' her debut CD of Disney classics and rarities, along with songs from shows she's done throughout the years. The show, which is directed by Scott Wittman with Musical Direction by Michael Kosarin, runs at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

Join the students from Ball State University's Virginia B. Ball Center for Creative Inquiry as they present a concert reading of their original musical, 'The Circus in Winter', inspired by Cathy Day's novel of the same title. The story follows Wallace Porter, a young and country-raised stable owner as he acquires a disheveled circus and menagerie. Set while the circus is winter-quartered in Lima, Indiana, Porter and company consider notions of risk, redemption and rebirth through relationships as graceful and perilous as an acrobat's high-flying routine.

A concert version of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty's Once On This Island will hit the stage on May 16th at 7:30pm at the York Theatre. The concert will be performed in connection with Asian Heritage Month and will be directed by original cast member Gerry McIntyre. Randy Redd will serve as musical director.
