Author Allen Guelzo to Appear at Ford's Theatre, 2/3
Allen Guelzo will read excerpts from his book, "Lincoln and Douglas: The Debates that Defined America." Guelzo's book addresses the significance of the seven senatorial debates that propelled the issue of slavery onto the national stage and laid the foundation for a new era in American history. Guelzo will sign copies of his book following the discussion.
The appearance is scheduled for Wednesday, February 3 at 4:30pm at Ford's Theatre.
Allen Guelzo is the author of "Lincoln and Douglas: The Debates that Defined America," and Director of the Civil War Era Studies program at Gettysburg College.
Tickets are free. Advance reservations are recommended; a convenience fee of $1.50 per ticket is charged for advance reservations. Patrons should visit fords.org for additional information and to reserve a space.
