It's just a week before previews begin for the much-anticipated revival of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, and the cast is ready to go. BroadwayWorld's Randy Rainbow just checked in with Tevye's three oldest daughters (played by Alexandra Silber, Samantha Massell and Melanie Moore) and they gave him the scoop on what to expect from Bartlett Sher's latest project. Earlier this month, Broadway stars Stephanie J. Block and Aaron Lazar performed in 'A Cabaret Evening' at 54 Below (254 West 54th Street). The evening was a joint benefit in support of The New York Pops PopsEd Programs and Ronald McDonald House New York. The two organizations partner to provide music education programs that serve as creative outlets for the children and families in residence.

The Broadway community was a-buzz last week with chatter about President Obama attending Saturday's matinee of HAMILTON. While the attendance of POTUS gave the cast enough reason to celebrate, they also marked the end of their first week of performances with the help of Hennessy. Can you believe it's been almost 28 years since the original production of Into the Woods opened on Broadway? Seems like only yesterday my mother was dragging a 6-year-old me, literally kicking and screaming, from below the marquee of the Martin Beck Theatre (now the Al Hirschfeld) to the Winter Garden Theatre where Cats was playing. (I wanted desperately to see Into the Woods, but a family 'friend' told my parents that Cats would be more appropriate for my age group. Thanks for ruining my life, lady.) In the right light, you can still to this day see my claw marks scraped along 45th Street.

The Midtown Men, the vocal group comprised of four stars from the Original Broadway Cast of Jersey Boys, will soon make their long awaited New York City homecoming on June 20th, 2015 at New York's famed Beacon Theatre (2124 Broadway, NYC). Music icons Shirley Alston Reeves (The Shirelles) and Gene Cornish (The Rascals) will be special guest stars for the one night only concert, performing hits from the 1960s that made them legends. The duo joins the group, led by Tony Award-winner Christian Hoff, Michael Longoria, Daniel Reichard, and Tony Award-nominee J. Robert Spencer, who after performing nearly 400 concerts across North America, will sing their celebrated arrangements of the greatest hits of the 1960s at the Beacon, their final show of this year's tour. The quartet recently sat down with BroadwayWorld to chat about the upcoming concert and to give us a special a cappella preview Check it out below!

Earlier this month, celebrity guests, including Hoda Kotb, the Rockettes, Jared Grimes and more,  gathered to mentor more than 100 children from the Garden of Dreams Foundation, to prepare them for their upcoming performance in the annual Garden of Dreams Talent Show at Radio City Music Hall on June 18.
