Randy Rainbow is a writer, actor, comedian and Internet celebrity based in New York City. Rainbow is most notable for a series of humorous YouTube viral videos which appear regularly on popular sites such as PerezHilton.com, Towleroad, Queerty and VH1's BestWeekEver.tv. His breakout video, 'Randy Rainbow is Dating Mel Gibson,' received more than 70,000 views in one week and has since surpassed 113,000 views. Randy was a theatrical critic/interviewer for HX Magazine (one of New York's most prominent gay publications) and has hosted and performed in numerous theatrical concerts and benefit performances around NYC. He has been heard as both a guest and guest co-host on Sirius XM OutQ's "Derek and Romaine Show". Randy most recently appeared on the VH1 special, 'The 100 Greatest Songs of the 2000's' and is slated to appear on their upcoming special 'The 100 Greatest Child Stars'. Tony and Grammy Award nominee Andrew Lippa's new oratorio I Am Harvey Milk had its New York premiere last week at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall. Lippa starred as Harvey Milk, Tony and Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth as the Soprano soloist and child actor Noah Marlowe (Mary Poppins, Act One) as 'YoungHarvey Milk.' In celebration of Disney's Beauty and the Beast's 20th anniversary on the stage, Disney Theatrical Productions, NETworks and Broadway Entertainment Group will present the first-ever international tour for the title. The English-language tour will open at Istanbul's Zorlu Center in October 2014 and will tour to diverse international markets including Kazakhstan, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia marking the first time Disney's timeless musical will have been seen in these territories. MCC THEATER will next feature Elizabeth Reaser, Gia Crovatin, Golden Globe nominee Callie Thorne, and Frederick Weller for the world premiere of MCC Playwright-in-Residence Neil LaBute's new play, The Money Shot, directed by Terry Kinney.
