Oh what a night May 20 will be! Olivia Valli, the granddaughter of Four Seasons frontman and leading character in Jersey Boys Frankie Valli, is set to join the company of Jersey Boys on May 20. Valli, in what is considered a first in stage history, will portray Frankie Valli's first wife and her own grandmother, Mary Mandel.

The sun will shine again, this time on a musical about Tammy Faye Bakker. A musical that has been in development stages for years may finally be preparing to head to Broadway with Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth at the helm.

Get ready for another binge watch! Netflix will start streaming Bathtubs Over Broadway on Thursday, May 9. Directed by Dava Whisenant, the documentary peels back the curtain on the forgotten industrial musicals.

The beat goes on for Micaela Diamond, making her Broadway debut as Babe, the youngest Cher in The Cher Show. At just 19 years old, she has already taken the theatre scene by storm, opening a show on Broadway and being on a newly released cast recording. Diamond invited Inside Edition into her life, showing them what a regular day is like for her.

We're going way down! One of Broadway's newest musicals, Hadestown, had lots to celebrate last week on April 17, when it opened at the Walter Kerr Theatre to rave reviews.

The first photos are in! Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley, the Skivvies duo, are currently starring in Cincinnati Playhouse's production of You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. The production is directed by Bill Fennelly, who directed Little Shop of Horrors. Along with Michael Holland, music director/new instrumental and vocal arranger, Fennelly and the company worked together in a collaborative and communal way, designing orchestrations with offbeat instruments like kazoos, slide whistles and washboards, along with the traditional guitar, piano and accordion.
