'Riley Parks' is back!! Lifetime's hit drama series THE CLIENT LIST, starring and executive produced by Golden Globe(R) Award nominee Jennifer Love Hewitt, will return for its long-awaited second season on Sunday, March 10, at 10:00pm ET/PT. Leading up to THE CLIENT LIST's return, Lifetime will air mini-marathons of the series' first season on Sunday, March 3, and Sunday, the 10th. The Guthrie today announced that actor Peter Michael Goetz will be stepping away from subsequent performances of his acclaimed portrayal of James Tyrone in Eugene O'Neill's Long Day's Journey into Night; Goetz will return to his California home in order to attend to a personal matter that requires his immediate attention. Raye Birk will assume the role of James Tyrone for upcoming performances.

Adam Kantor (Rent) and Betsy Wolfe (The Mystery of Edwin Drood) will co-star in the highly anticipated revival of Jason Robert Brown's musical The Last Five Years at Second Stage Theatre. The beloved two-character musical, which has received more than 500 regional productions and 3,000 performances around the world, is returning to New York City after eleven years in an all-new staging directed by MR. Brown. The Last Five Years will begin previews on Thursday, March 7 at Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd street). Opening night is scheduled for Tuesday, April 2 at 7pm. Sony Pictures Classics announced today that they have acquired all North American rights to Woody Allen's next film, BLUE JASMINE from Gravier Productions.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Eliza Doolittle might be heading back to Broadway in the near future, as music industry legend Clive Davis has just announced plans to produce My Fair Lady in 2014. He told LAT: 'I always wanted to produce a Broadway show, and I've never done it. I'm hopeful we will prepare and finalize everything this year to bring 'My Fair Lady' next year to Broadway with a stellar cast.'

A 1992 revival, directed by Gerald Guttierrez, featured Spiro Malas as Tony, Sophie Hayden as Rosabella, Charles Pistone as Joe, Claudia Catania as Marie, Liz Larsen as Cleo, and Scott Waara as Herman.

Today in 1984, The Rink opend at the Martin Beck Theatre (now the Al Hirschfeld Theatre), where it ran for 204 performances. With a book by Terrence McNally, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and music by John Kander, the musical focuses on Anna, the owner of a dilapidated roller skating rink on the boardwalk of a decaying seaside resort, who has decided to sell it to developers. Complicating her plans are her prodigal daughter Angel, who returns to town seeking to reconnect with the people and places she long ago left behind. Through a series of flashbacks, revelations, and minimal forward-moving plot development, the two deal with their pasts in their attempt to reconcile and move on with their lives.

In 2010 Scott starred in the critically acclaimed production Everyday Rapture, which Scott wrote with co-author Dick Scanlan. She most recently starred as Pepa in the musical adaptation of Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.

As BroadwayWorld previously announced, country music icon Carrie Underwood is slated to portray the role of Maria von Trapp in NBC's upcoming live holiday broadcast of The Sound of Music in 2013. According to the Wall Street Journal, original Maria, Julie Andrews fully supports the remake of the classic film.

Two-time Academy Award-winner Tom Hanks will soon make his Broadway debut in Lucky Guy, the final work by three-time Academy Award-nominee Nora Ephron and directed by two-time Tony Award-winner George C. Wolfe. According to Bloomberg, the movie star could rake in up to $150,000 a week for his role. Hanks will bring in 12.5 percent of the weekly box office earnings, with a $75,000 minimum. Additionally, if the show extends and another actor replaces Hanks, he will still earn 2 percent of ticket sales.

The U.S. premiere of "Backbeat" just opened at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre.
