On April 22nd, Our Time - a non-profit organization that has been helping children who stutter for over a decade - will hold its 11th Annual Benefit Gala, Worth the Wait, celebrating the bravery and achievements of young people who stutter as well as those who inspire their success. This event comes just one year after the organization honored Offensive Lineman Matt Slauson of the New York Jets, and two years after honoring David Seidler, the Academy Award-winning writer of The King's Speech, whose film changed the landscape for people who stutter around the world. The event has become an annual favorite for a number of celebrities, philanthropists, artists, and social advocates including former NEA Chair and award-winning actress Jane Alexander who has said: "The word has gotten out that this is the best show in town. I go to a lot of galas, but this is the one I always want to go to, bar none."

New City Stage Company opened the Philadelphia of 'RFK' by Jack Holmes in Philadelphia in October 2012 and then extended the show into November after 18 straight sold-out houses. The hot play will receive 2 more productions by New City Stage in 2013, including one in Washington, D.C.

From the iconic songbook of Johnny Cash comes this unique musical about love and faith, struggle and success, rowdiness and redemption, and home and family. More than two dozen classic hits - including 'I Walk the Line,' 'A Boy Named Sue,' 'Folsom Prison Blues,' and the title tune - performed by a multi-talented cast, paint a musical portrait of The Man in Black that promises to be a foot-stompin', crowd-pleasin' salute to a uniquely American legend! Richard Maltby, Jr. created the piece and will also direct The Rep's production. It was originally conceived by William Meade with orchestrations by Steven Bishop and Jeff Lisenby. Malty is re-conceiving his Johnny Cash tribute specifically for a five-member ensemble for The Rep's Stackner Cabaret. The cast features Trenna Barnes, Eddie Clendening, Jason Edwards, David Miles Keenan and Mark W. Winchester, who are all making their Rep debuts. Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash runs in the Stackner Cabaret from March 1 - May 5, and opens Sunday, March 3.

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director William Russo present the New York premiere of Belleville, written by Amy Herzog and directed by Anne Kauffman, at NYTW, 79 East 4 Street, between Bowery and Second Avenue. According to Deadline, Christina Ricci has officially landed the lead role in NBC's upcoming pilot GIRLFRIEND IN A COMA.

THEATER TALK just celebrated the 88th birthday of the great star Elaine Stritch. Also included in the episode were music director Rob Bowman, and actor Hunter Ryan Herdlicka who appeared with Stritch in 'A Little Night Music' on Broadway. In a freewheeling conversation, Stritch reminisces fondly about a number of people and things of significance including Stephen Sondheim, Bela Lugosi, and the gift basket that Alec Baldwin sent her after she injured her hip. The producers of the Broadway production of ORPHANS, Lyle Kessler's play, directed by Daniel Sullivan, announced today that Ben Foster will join the cast immediately in the role of "Treat." Producers Frederick Zollo and Robert Cole said, "We are delighted that Ben will join Alec Baldwin and Tom Sturridge when rehearsals commence at ORPHANS tomorrow morning. He is an extraordinarily gifted actor."

Theatre couple Leslie Kritzer and Vadim Feichtner will tie the knot tomorrow, February 22 in a private ceremony in the Grand Tier Mezzanine Lobby of NY's City Center. Leslie and Vadim met there in the lobby at the closing night party for the Encores! production of On The Town in November 2008.

Producers Steven Van Zandt and Maureen Van Zandt have just announced that THE RASCALS: ONCE UPON A DREAM will premiere on Broadway this spring for 15 performances only. Directed by Steven Van Zandt and Marc Brickman, with music by Felix Cavaliere and Eddie Brigati, THE RASCALS: ONCE UPON A DREAM has stage, video and lighting design by Brickman and has music production and is written by legendary guitarist Van Zandt. Performances begin Monday, April 15th at Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street), and will play through Sunday, May 5th. Opening night is set for Thursday, April 18th. Last week, it was announced that Andrew Lloyd Webbers The Phantom of the Opera (Das Phantom der Oper) will return to Hamburg. From December 2013 onwards, the legendary multi-award winning musical will be presented by Stage Entertainment at the Neue Flora Theater.

According to Deadline.com, SMASH star Jack Davenport has joined ITV's 6=part 'Breathless' drama series. The show is about 'a group of doctors and nurses in a gynecology ward at a period when Britain was on the brink of the 60s revolution.' Davenport will play Otto Powell- 'a brilliant and charismatic surgeon who believes he can make a difference to women's lives,' as described by Deadline.
