Broadway veteran Michael Ball will release a new studio album, also titled 'Both Sides Now' in addition to launching a UK tour in spring 2013. Both the tour and the album will comprise of 2 halves, encompassing Michael's biggest hits from both his recorded and stage careers including 'Suddenly' from the new film version of LES MISERABLES and 'The Perfect Song' by Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Tim Federle, author of the new Broadway novel BETTER NATE THAN EVER, is soon coming out with a cocktail recipe book, Tequila Mockingbird: Cocktails with a Literary Twist. For anyone who has yet to plan their Oscar night menue, check out his Les Miserables-themed cocktail 'Les Fizz' below!

The company of the first North American tour of Wicked has just announced that joining the show will be Jenn Gambatese as Glinda on Tuesday, February 26 in Costa Mesa, CA and Curt Hansen as Fiyero on Wednesday, March 20 in Tucson, AZ.

Eiko Ishioka, costume designer for SPIDER-MAN, is nominated for a 2013 Academy Award for her costume designs for Mirror, Mirror. Ishioka passed away last year after losing a battle with pancreatic cancer on January 21 in Tokyo. She was 73 years old. It was announced earlier this week that, Davis is eying LES MISERABLES star Anne Hathaway and Colin Firth to play Eliza Doolittle and Henry Higgins respectively. Now according to the Daily Mail, Hathaway has responded positively to the news. She told DM: 'I haven't heard for a while what's happening with My Fair Lady and I don't know whether I would do it on stage, or screen, but either would be a treat.'

Columbia University and Ambassador Jean Kennedy Smith have just announced that Dan O'Brien's The Body of an American and Robert Schenkkan's All the Way are the inaugural winners of the Edward M. Kennedy Prize for Drama Inspired by American History, known as the EMK Prize.

On April 22nd, Our Time - a non-profit organization that has been helping children who stutter for over a decade - will hold its 11th Annual Benefit Gala, Worth the Wait, celebrating the bravery and achievements of young people who stutter as well as those who inspire their success. This event comes just one year after the organization honored Offensive Lineman Matt Slauson of the New York Jets, and two years after honoring David Seidler, the Academy Award-winning writer of The King's Speech, whose film changed the landscape for people who stutter around the world. The event has become an annual favorite for a number of celebrities, philanthropists, artists, and social advocates including former NEA Chair and award-winning actress Jane Alexander who has said: "The word has gotten out that this is the best show in town. I go to a lot of galas, but this is the one I always want to go to, bar none."

New City Stage Company opened the Philadelphia of 'RFK' by Jack Holmes in Philadelphia in October 2012 and then extended the show into November after 18 straight sold-out houses. The hot play will receive 2 more productions by New City Stage in 2013, including one in Washington, D.C.

More than two dozen classic hits - including 'I Walk the Line,' 'A Boy Named Sue,' 'Folsom Prison Blues,' and the title tune - performed by a multi-talented cast, paint a musical portrait of The Man in Black that promises to be a foot-stompin', crowd-pleasin' salute to a uniquely American legend! Richard Maltby, Jr. created the piece and will also direct The Rep's production. It was originally conceived by William Meade with orchestrations by Steven Bishop and Jeff Lisenby. Malty is re-conceiving his Johnny Cash tribute specifically for a five-member ensemble for The Rep's Stackner Cabaret. The cast features Trenna Barnes, Eddie Clendening, Jason Edwards, David Miles Keenan and Mark W. Winchester, who are all making their Rep debuts. Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash runs in the Stackner Cabaret from March 1 - May 5, and opens Sunday, March 3.

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director William Russo present the New York premiere of Belleville, written by Amy Herzog and directed by Anne Kauffman, at NYTW, 79 East 4 Street, between Bowery and Second Avenue. According to Deadline, Christina Ricci has officially landed the lead role in NBC's upcoming pilot GIRLFRIEND IN A COMA.

THEATER TALK just celebrated the 88th birthday of the great star Elaine Stritch. Also included in the episode were music director Rob Bowman, and actor Hunter Ryan Herdlicka who appeared with Stritch in 'A Little Night Music' on Broadway. In a freewheeling conversation, Stritch reminisces fondly about a number of people and things of significance including Stephen Sondheim, Bela Lugosi, and the gift basket that Alec Baldwin sent her after she injured her hip.
