The Williamston Theatre will be offering 4 workshops this summer for teens (12-18 years old) starting June 18. The classes will be taught by Dana Brazil, a professional actress who has been seen onstage at Williamston Theatre, BoarsHead Theatre and Purple Rose Theatre Company.

The Mall at Partridge Creek continues its tradition to engage and entertain its community with the launch of its 2012 Motor City Co-op Credit Union Summer Sounds concert series Memorial Day weekend. Now in its fifth year, Motor City Co-op Credit Union Summer Sounds is quickly becoming a much-anticipated tradition featuring the area's most popular bands, such as Sun Messengers, Boogie Dynomite, Parrots of the Caribbean, Square Pegz, and Big Will and the 360 Degree Band. The series starts May 26 when the Randy Brock Group takes the stage and will feature free daily concerts through Labor Day.

Kathy Evans, Founder and Executive Director of the Rhinebeck Writers Retreat, announced the eighteen writers who were selected for residencies this July and August. Each week, for eight weeks, one musical theatre writing team will work on their musical in a home in Rhinebeck, New York.

The Fountain Theatre's acclaimed Forever Flamenco! series presents Arte y Pureza Flamenco Company in "Quien Yo Soy" ("This Is Me"), fusing flamenco and jazz at The Fountain Theatre on Sunday, May 27 at 8 pm. Forever Flamenco! is produced by Deborah Lawlor, who created the esteemed Flamenco program at the Fountain more than 20 years ago and has established it as the foremost venue of Flamenco in Los Angeles.

Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) presents its annual Spring Concert on Saturday, May 19 at 4:00 and 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, May 20 at 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. at Franklin's Thomas D. Mercer Auditorium, 224 Oak Street. The four Spring Concert performances feature FSPA students in all levels and disciplines of dance and musical theater, as well as the FSPA Youth Choir, performing troupes, dance ensembles, Groovemasters percussion ensemble, Jazz Krewe, and the international touring ensemble Electric Youth.
