Debuting on the scene with a commemorative nod to idol Michael Jackson, Brooklyn based singer-songwriter ΔNGELO releases a mash-up of his track "Time Bomb". The track's August 27th release comes just in time to celebrate the memory of Michael Jackson on his birthday, August 29th. Fans can hear the exclusive premiere of the track at www.Electroqueer.com on Friday, August 27th.

In honor of what would have been Michael Jackson's 52nd birthday, ΔNGELO tapped Barcelona's remix duo BUFFETLIBRE to help put together a "Time Bomb vs. Billie Jean" mash-up. The collaboration was familiar, with the two having previously worked together on a remix of "Hands Down," which was chosen as an official selection at this summer's Sónar Music Festival and will also appear on ΔNGELO's forthcoming EP. The back-to-back collaborations have proven to be so successful it is no wonder the three teamed up yet again to help commemorate The Gloved One's Birthday.

In fact, it was the untimely passing of The King of Pop that inspired ΔNGELO; before long, he was in the studio recording the first release off his forthcoming EP. It is clear that ΔNGELO drew from Michael Jackson's "Off The Wall" era mid-tempo song styling as "Time Bomb vs. Billie Jean" evokes a familiar yet refreshing feeling.

The promotional mash-up promises stylistic trademarks of the King but re-imagined through the adoring lens of ΔNGELO. All in all, "Time Bomb" is an artistic pairing quite worthy of the pop icon's inclusion.

Coming up on August 30th, ΔNGELO is set to appear on stage with Emily Bergl (Desperate Housewives, Men In Trees) and G. Scott Lacy in their new cabaret "Kidding On The Square" at The Metropolitan Room at Gotham (34 West 22nd St. Btwn 5th and 6th Avenues) at 9:30pm. ΔNGELO will be singing Charlie Chaplin's famous tune "Smile" (incidentally a Michael Jackson favorite) per Bergl's request. The evening of song also slates ΔNGELO to join Tony Award winning actor Michael Cerveris (Assassins) and Broadway and films star Anthony Rapp (RENT).
