According to The New York Times, Tony Award winning choreographer Twyla Tharp will present her latest work this summer at the Joyce Theater. The work is currently untitled and is 'a dramatic piece set to a late Beethoven quartet.' Ms. Tharp is currently the artist in residence at the theatre.

JCC Manhattan proudly presents PREformances with Allison Charney featuring violinists Laura Jean Goldberg, Ani Bukujian and Alexandros Martino Petrin, violist Lisa Heffter, cellist Roberta Cooper, pianists Alexei Tartakovsky and Moshe Knoll as well as actor, Jordan Charney, on Monday, April 11th at 12:30pm. On the border of poetry, music and dance TRANSCESTRAL INCANTATIONS promises to be a real highlight of the event RAOTIHO?N:TSA - Focus on Firsts Nations' contemporary creation. Orchestrated by Moe Clark and Katia Makdissi- Warren, this performance is a blending of both First Nations' and Middle East cultures. The evening promises to be festive as well as introspective. It will allow us to travel between the exalted celebration of the founding identities, and dive into our own personal cultural composition.

Musical writing team Davyd Reddyk and Ethan Krupp are proud to announce their first cabaret, Sunday Night Songbook with Reddy and Krupp. Directed by Jon Martinez and featuring a cast of Chicago's top theater and comedy talent, S?unday Night Songbook w?ill include songs from four original musicals, and will be performed on Sundays April 24 and May 1 at MCL Chicago, 3110 N. Master vocalist and Symphony Siren Diva N'Kenge (Motown: The Musical and Sondheim and Sondheim) is coming to Sarasota, FL for the first time debuting with conductor Jack Everly at the Sarasota Symphony for the exciting The Beat Goes On show, Friday - Saturday, April 15 - April 16, 2016 (8:00pm).

Tangent Theatre Company, based in their intimate Carpenter Shop Theater in Tivoli, announces their Spring 2016 main-stage production: the award-winning Circle Mirror Transformation by Annie Baker. Set in a small Vermont town, the story centers around a local acting class and the truths revealed as the group's time together unfolds. In addition to the featured female playwright, the show will spotlight a wide range of female talents: three acting artists, the director, producer, set and lighting designers, wardrobe supervisor and house manager are all established women in the field.

Charlie Cox, Heather Lind, Geneva Carr, and Morgan Spector will soon star in Nick Payne's new play INCOGNITO at Manhattan Theatre Club. Tony winner Doug Hughes (THE FATHER, DOUBT, OUTSIDE MULLINGAR) will take the helm. INCOGNITO will begin its limited run on Tuesday, May 3 ahead of an official opening night of May 24 at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street). The wizardry of Stephen Schwartz has spanned four decades to date and given us some of the best loved shows of all time: Godspell, Pippin, and the mega-smash hit, Wicked. Throughout her career, Kelli Rabke has had the opportunity to work with Stephen on several occasions, including the Paper Mill Playhouse production/American Premiere recording of Children of Eden where she played "Yonah." On Saturday April 9th 2016, the CEO & Artistic Director of Adelaide Festival Centre, Mr Douglas Gautier AM and Chairman of Hong Kong Arts Development Council, Dr Wilfred Wong will sign a cultural agreement paving the way for performing arts programs to be shared by the two institutions.

The power struggle between two musical geniuses in 18th century Vienna is at the center of Peter Shaffer's play "Amadeus" that will be presented by Spinning Tree Theatre, April 28 through May 15 at the Arts Asylum, 1000 E. 9th St., Kansas City, Missouri.

It will indeed be a historic introduction to our 2016 season when Family Musical Theater takes to the stage for their first show of the season, "Kiss Me, Kate". 

According to Entertainment Weekly, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed that Marvel Studios characters will be appearing in the untitled Spider-Man film, which is set to be released on July 7th, 2017. Given that Spider-Man is set to make an appearance in the Marvel Studios film Captain America: Civil War, it seems only fair that some of these characters would join Spidey in his solo ventures. 

Ariana Grande revealed in an interview with MTV News that Jason Robert Brown is set to perform with her on tomorrow's broadcast of the MTV Movie Awards. The pair, who first worked together on 13 THE MUSICAL, will be performing a rendition of 'Dangerous Woman.' Watch the full interview here!

Twenty-nine local students from the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) will travel to Walt Disney World during the April school break to perform for Disney audiences and participate in master classes with Disney performers, choreographers and directors. This is FSPA's 21st year of Disney performances as part of the Disney Performing Arts Program.
