Last night, December 7, The Mint Theater Company opened its hotly anticipated production of So Help Me God!, toplined by Kristen Johnston and Anna Chlumsky, to critical raves. Continuing its tradition of celebrating the arts, Barnes & Noble at Lincoln Triangle hosted Michael Feinstein and Cheyenne Jackson who gave a musical performance and signed CDs to present their new album The Power of Two. Based on the sold-out engagement at Michael's New York nightclub, Feinstein's at Loews Regency the disc features pop songs, classic standards and numbers from Broadway shows like Kiss Me Kate, City Of Angels and The King and I. The disc, released through Harbinger Records, was made available on iTunes, Amazon.com on November 3.

A slew of stellar performers are lending their talents to the True Colors Cabaret lineup, a new monthly cabaret show playing Feinstein's at the Loews Regency. Liza Minnelli's Tony Award-winning performance 'LIZA'S AT THE PALACE,' American Public Television (ATP) will distribute the long awaited Special in December, 2009. Minnelli's unanimously acclaimed Broadway performances were sold out for five weeks in December last year and fans around the world have been eagerly anticipating news of the broadcast.

The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation hosted its 19th annual A Magical Evening gala on Monday, November 9, 2009 at The Marriott Marquis in New York City. This year's gala recognized the results of a recently published study sponsored by the Reeve Foundation, which shows that 5.6 million Americans are living with paralysis, 1.275 million of those as a result of spinal cord injury.
