After the excitment of the 60th Annual Tony Awards, broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall on June 11th, the stars took off for the Summer Garden at Rockefeller Plaza, where a glamorous after-party was held to celebrate the nominees and winners.
Legitimate theatrical productions opening in any of the 39 eligible Broadway theatres during the current season were considered for Tony nominations. The 2005/2006 eligibility season began May 5, 2005 and ended May 10, 2006.
The Tony Awards were voted in 24 categories by 754 members of the theatrical community.
