Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre will open its doors on Sunday, August 21 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Monday, August 22 from 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to offer the performing arts lover the opportunity to obtain information and purchase subscriptions for the 2011/2012 season presented by the Centre's three resident companies, Gas South Broadway Series, The Atlanta Opera and the Atlanta Ballet. Each resident company will have special 'Access the Arts' subscription offers available only at this two-day event. Additionally, the event offers arts patrons an opportunity to visit the venue and 'test-drive your seats' in the theatre.

The Denver Center Theatre Company will begin selling single tickets to the upcoming 2011/2012 season on Sunday, August 14. Tickets may be purchased online at www.denvercenter.org, by phone at 303.893.4100 (TTY 303.893.9582) or at the Denver Center Ticket Services in the lobby of the Helen Bonfils Theatre Complex, Mon - Sat from 10am to 6pm. Special hours on Sunday, August 14 are from 10am to 2pm at the walkup counter in the Helen Bonfils Theatre Complex. Phone agents will also take calls during this time.

Miracle Theatre Group, the Northwest's premier Latino arts and culture organization, is pleased to announce its 'Take a Seat' campaign, a capital improvement project prompted by audience feedback surveys. Over the summer, Miracle Theatre will send off all 121 theatre seats to be restored by a local upholstery business.

Go big or go home - that's the motto for season nine of the Emmy and James Beard Award-winning No.1 food show on cable, 'Top Chef,' as it heads to the state that does everything bigger - Texas. Possibly the worst kept locale secret in this moment's culinary universe, the new season of 'Top Chef' will heartily embrace the Lone Star State's adage that all things are bigger as, in a series first, the production will head to three cities within the season - Austin, Dallas and San Antonio. On Friday, August 12th, seventy students ages 8 to 18 will be performing for their family, friends, and community as part of the Summer Education Outreach Program. The performance will begin at 1:00pm. The Summer Education Outreach Program is at the heart of the St. George Theatre's mission and was created from the founders' vision to address an expressed community need for more youth programs.
