4TH WALL THEATRE will host an end of season fundraiser entitled 'A JERSEY VOICE: Sinatra to Springsteen...and Everyone in Between" featuring John Michael Coppola, a former Bloomfield resident. The concert will be held on Monday, July 16 at 7:30 pm, at the Westminster Arts Center on the campus of Bloomfield College in Bloomfield, NJ. The concert is the final fundraising event of 4th Wall's 15th anniversary season.

On Saturday, June 30, 2012, Lakewood Theatre Company/Lakewood Center for the Arts held its annual meeting and OTAS (Oregon Theatrical Awards Society) presentation at the Lakewood Center for the Arts to celebrate the closing of its 59th season of plays and its 41st annual OTAS Awards. Emcee for the evening was Bill Warner, a past President of Lakewood's Board of Directors.

FREUD'S LAST SESSION, the runaway hit play by Mark St. Germain, celebrated its 750th New York performance yesterday, June 30th at New World Stages (240 West 50th Street). FREUD'S LAST SESSION is the winner of the 2011 Off Broadway Alliance Award for Best Play. In celebration of the official end of the school year, the show's producers recently released an additional block of $20 student tickets for all performances this summer.

In the upcoming short film SING ALONG, the lead character is a 14-year-old boy living in New York City, with Broadway theaters as his backyard. Deeply introverted and mildly agoraphobic, his love of musicals translate to an overactive imagination, stemmed from his natural creativity. But it leads to trouble in school and more at home, where his naysayer mother crushes his artistic nature and his dream of being on Broadway himself.

Celebrities and art lovers gathered tonight for Art Project Los Angeles - the third annual red-carpet art auction and gala event benefiting AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA). The event raised over $180,000 for APLA, which provides direct care services and HIV prevention programs to more than 11,000 Angelenos.

The Broadway production of Nicky Silver's comedy THE LYONS will end its run at the Cort Theatre (138 W. 48 St.) following today's performance, after having played 80 performances and 21 previews. Directed by Mark Brokaw, THE LYONS began previews April 5 and had its official opening night April 23 with a cast starring Tony winners Linda Lavin and Dick Latessa.

On Thursday, June 28th, the ten finalists in Ken Davenport's 10-Minute Play Contest presented their plays and musicals at Davenport Studios for a live audience and judges panel that included Isaac Robert Hurwitz (NYMF Executive Producer), Joe Iconis (Bloodsong of Love, The Black Suits), Sarah Saltzberg (The 25th Annual Putnam...), and Ken Davenport (Godspell, Avenue Q). The judges and audience voted for their favorite piece of the night.

Tuacahn's production of Disney's "Aladdin," which premiered Monday, June 4, starring Dan Domenech as Aladdin, Haley Carlucci as Princess Jasmine, Edward Juvier as Genie, and Michael G. Hawkins as Jafar, has recently released the show's official TV promo, featuring its lead actors. The production runs alternately with Marc Shaiman's "Hairspray" at Tuacahn Amphitheatre, an outdoor performance space nestled in a verdant valley, and surrounded by towering red rock cliffs, until October 19.
