CETM and CUTTER PRODUCTIONS, in association with the Midtown International Theater Festival, have announced the New York premiere production of LE PRINCE ET LE PAUVRE (The Prince and the Pauper), book and lyrics by Ludovic-Alexandre Vidal, music and original Montreal production directed by Julien Salvia, New York production directed by Gaëlle Pouliquen, presented in French with supertitles and an encore in English. LE PRINCE ET LE PAUVRE will play three performances only June Havoc Theatre (Abington Theatre Arts Complex, 312 West 36th Street, just West of 8th Avenue). Performances are Friday, July 27 at 6:45pm, Saturday, July 28 at 11:30am, and Sunday, July 29 at 12pm.

Identity Productions has announced that it will extend its production of Stephen Belber's TAPE for two final performances as part of the Best of the Hollywood Fringe at the Theatre Asylum mainstage. These last two shows will run on Thursday, July 19th and Thursday, July 26th at 8pm.

4TH WALL THEATRE will host an end of season fundraiser entitled 'A JERSEY VOICE: Sinatra to Springsteen...and Everyone in Between" featuring John Michael Coppola, a former Bloomfield resident. The concert will be held on Monday, July 16 at 7:30 pm, at the Westminster Arts Center on the campus of Bloomfield College in Bloomfield, NJ. The concert is the final fundraising event of 4th Wall's 15th anniversary season.

On Saturday, June 30, 2012, Lakewood Theatre Company/Lakewood Center for the Arts held its annual meeting and OTAS (Oregon Theatrical Awards Society) presentation at the Lakewood Center for the Arts to celebrate the closing of its 59th season of plays and its 41st annual OTAS Awards. FREUD'S LAST SESSION, the runaway hit play by Mark St. Germain, celebrated its 750th New York performance yesterday, June 30th at New World Stages (240 West 50th Street). FREUD'S LAST SESSION is the winner of the 2011 Off Broadway Alliance Award for Best Play. In celebration of the official end of the school year, the show's producers recently released an additional block of $20 student tickets for all performances this summer.

In the upcoming short film SING ALONG, the lead character is a 14-year-old boy living in New York City, with Broadway theaters as his backyard. Deeply introverted and mildly agoraphobic, his love of musicals translate to an overactive imagination, stemmed from his natural creativity. But it leads to trouble in school and more at home, where his naysayer mother crushes his artistic nature and his dream of being on Broadway himself.
