Following their successful performances at B.B.Kings Blues Club and Kenny's Castaways , blues guitarist Meyer Rossabi brings his band to the heart of Greenwich Village for a special two hour concert at Wicked Willy's. Meyer Rossabi is earning the reputation as one of the finest blues guitarists in the U.S.A. His debut CD, Blues Is The Color, is still receiving airplay on FM radio across the country. Blues Is The Color features nine original songs, two covers and a bonus live track 'The Sky is Crying'. Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and Grammy Award winning drummer Marky Ramone plays on three tracks, 'World Gone Crazy, ' 'The Sky Is Crying' and 'Crash.'

The cast of TRIASSIC PARQ will head into Sear Sound Studios on August 11th to create the cast recording, which will be available in September on iTunes, Amazon.com, Xbox LIVE, and TriassicParq.com.

Supporting the arts as part of its education-focused initiatives, State Employees' Credit Union (SECU) members via the SECU Foundation, have provided the North Carolina Symphony with $140,000 in funding for a new 28-foot insulated vehicle, the organizations announced today. The new vehicle will help the nationally recognized North Carolina Symphony continue their broad travels across the state to bring world-class talent and musical performances to North Carolina students and communities each year. The Symphony's vehicle is a vital component for transporting the orchestra's valuable instruments in a structurally sound, temperature and humidity-controlled environment in order to maintain instrument integrity. In recognition of SECU members' contribution as a partner in education, the vehicle will be designed with an exterior wrap highlighting the SECU Foundation alongside the Symphony.

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company (Jonathan Silverstein, Artistic Director/Damon Chua, Executive Director) today announced that their 2012 - '13 season will begin with their first musical - Marry Me A Little, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, conceived by Craig Lucas and Norman Rene, directed by Keen Artistic Director Jonathan Silverstein. It will be followed by a newly revised version of the 1991 play, The Old Boy by A.R. Gurney.

The first solo exhibition in a New York museum by the artist El Anatsui will be presented at the Brooklyn Museum from February 8 through August 4, 2013. Gravity and Grace: Monumental Works by El Anatsui will feature over 30 primarily large-scale works in metal and wood that transform appropriated objects into site-specific sculptures.

The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the World Premiere of Allegiance - A New American Musical, an epic story of family, love and patriotism set during the Japanese American internment of World War II. Directed by Stafford Arima, with music and lyrics by Jay Kuo and book by Marc Acito, Kuo and Lorenzo Thione, the production features choreography by Andrew Palermo and music supervision, arrangements and orchestrations by Lynne Shankel.

Theatre Under The Stars' (TUTS) Humphreys School of Musical Theatre (HSMT) is 'tickled pink to bring the charming hit show Legally Blonde the Musical back to Houston' in conjunction with the 40th anniversary of the award-winning Humphreys School. Legally Blonde the Musical will "bend and snap" at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts on September 14 - 16, 2012 and feature an all-teen cast made entirely of local high school students.

Ellen Barkin, Wayne Brady and Gilbert Gottfried have been added to the all-star roster of Roasters led by Roast Master Jane Lynch.
