On Wednesday, November 28, 2012, Silver Hill Hospital will hold a festive black-tie gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York. Musician Neil Sedaka will be honored for the joy his music has brought to millions. Mr. Sedaka's songs, such as 'Breaking Up is Hard to Do' and 'Laughter in the Rain,' have brought solace as well as hope to millions of lives compromised by mental illness and addiction. Guests will be treated to a special performance by Mr. Sedaka during the evening. The Gala is a fundraiser to provide financial assistance for individuals who need the Silver Hill long-term residential treatment programs but are without adequate resources to cover the costs.

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director), has announced full casting for a staged concert production - similar in style to their acclaimed Musicals in Mufti Series - of the 1966 musical Man with a Load of Mischief, with music by John Clifton, lyrics by Clifton and Ben Tarver, and book by Tarver. Directed by Jenn Thompson with music direction by Bryan L. Wade, the cast will feature P.J. Benjamin (Wicked), Naomi Brockwell, Stephen R. Playful Theatre Productions presents the comic rock musical "Little Shop of Horrors" at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre. Revered in his own time as a 'monarch' of painting, Piero della Francesca (1411/13-1492) is acknowledged today as a founding figure of the Italian Renaissance. In early 2013, The Frick Collection will present the first monographic exhibition in the United States dedicated to the artist. It brings together seven works by Piero della Francesca, including six panels from the Saint' Agostino altarpiece-the largest number from this masterwork ever reassembled. NHTP's season opener had its world premiere in 1953 in a tiny Paris theater and is now considered a classic of twentieth century dramatic literature. As a true classic, the play is still controversial and subject to numerous intellectual interpretations yet Beckett remains one of the most accessible contemporary playwrights. Beckett's humor is often bittersweet and his heroes are clowns along the same lines as Chaplin and Keaton.
