The Nualas Bring ONE NIGHT OF DIGNITY to Roscommon Arts Centre, October 5

Ireland's top all-female comedy singing sensations, The Nualas, are on the road again with their fabulous new show ONE NIGHT OF DIGNITY coming to Roscommon Arts Centre on Friday 5th October, 8pm. In a world where pop stars think nothing of singing in their underwear, The Nualas buck the trend by sporting proper, yet unbelievably glamorous, and shiny, stage attire. Expect original self-penned numbers, scintillating vocal harmony, ambitious choreography and a night packed solid with craic, laughter, tears, and chat (not necessarily in that order).

Last year The Nualas reformed, launching to great acclaim on The Late Late Show, with their debut song 'Yummy Mummy Recession Blues'. They went on to storm festivals and venues alike, playing to packed audiences, reaping unanimous critical praise as they went.

During their previous seven years together The Nualas achieved 17 theatre runs including 6 total-sell-outs at the Edinburgh Festival and extended seasons in theatres in LondonDublin and New York and worldwide.

They recorded  two radio series and a New Year's Eve Special for BBC Radio 4 (now available on youtube); appeared in a double-headline special of the first series of the BBC 1 TV's Stand-up show (with US comic Jon Stewart); chalked up innumerable other radio and telly appearances from Singapore to Cork, and  released a video with Sony.

Expect Nuala favourites  such as 'Manolo' alongside fabulous all-new classics, such as 'Sexy Farm Song', 'Jesus, Mary and Joseph why am I so fat?' and the roof raising ballad 'Finn' (based on an ancient Irish love story, that they made up).  For the price of one household charge you and three friends and/or family members can enjoy a night of world-class entertainment, from this kick-ass, cutting-edge comedy trio – whilst avoiding any anger to towards the government.

'The Nualas have put comedy and music in a blender and come up with a world class souflee.' Sunday Times.

Tickets for The Nualas are priced at €17/€15 and are available through Roscommon Arts Centre's box office on 090 6625824 /
