The Cleveland Orchestra hosts its second annual Student Appreciation Weekend Thursday, October 4 - Saturday, October 6. Student tickets, all $5, will be available beginning Monday, October 1 at the Severance Hall Ticket Office during regular business hours. Concerts include Cleveland Orchestra subscription concerts on Thursday, October 4, at 8 p.m. and Saturday, October 6; at 8 p.m. and the KeyBank Fridays@7 concert on Friday, October 5, at 7 p.m. in Severance Hall.

Guanqun Yu will make her Met debut as Leonora in Verdi's Il Trovatore on September 29 matinee, replacing Carmen Giannattasio who is ill. Yu was already scheduled to sing Leonora on October 17, 20, and 25; Giannattasio is still scheduled to sing the role on October 4, 8, and 12.
