The Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra, now in its 27th season, performs its first Severance Hall concert of the 2012-13 season. James Feddeck, in his fourth season as music director of the Youth Orchestra, conducts a program that opens with Antonin Dvo?ak's Carnival Overture, Opus 92, followed by Sergei Prokofiev's Suite from Lieutenant Kije, Opus 60. After intermission, the program concludes with Howard Hanson's Symphony No. 2 ("Romantic"), Opus 30.

Marin Alsop returns to the Walt Disney Concert Hall stage to lead the Los Angeles Philharmonic in three performances, Friday and Saturday, November 2 and 3, at 8 pm, as well as Sunday, November 4, at 2 pm. All three evenings include Golijov's Azul, featuring rising young cellist Joshua Roman, as well as hyper-accordionist Michael Ward-Bergeman, and percussionists Jamey Haddad and Keita Ogawa. The three evenings close with Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6, "Pathetique," what many consider to be the composer's most profound symphony. The Saturday and Sunday programs open with Barber's Essay No. 2.

Following a sold-out run at the Jermyn Street Theatre, Trevor Nunn's critically acclaimed production of Samuel Beckett's radio play ALL THAT FALL starring Eileen Atkins and Michael Gambon will transfer to the Arts Theatre from 6 November, opening on Thursday 8 November, for a strictly limited run of 23 performances, closing on 24 November.

Donohue, OSA, PhD returns to Villanova Theatre with the Philadelphia premiere of The Drowsy Chaperone, on stage November 6 - December 2, 2012. Silver Spring Stage presents These Shining Lives by Melanie Marnich, directed by Bob Benn and produced by Seth Ghitelman, the powerful true story of the strength and determination of women working in a 1920's clock factory exposed to toxic chemicals. Theirs is an inspirational story of survival and courage to save other workers from harm. These Shining Lives will perform weekends October 26 to November 17.

American Ballet Theatre will perform a Fall season, October 30-November 10, 2013, at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center, it was announced today by Rachel S. Moore, ABT's Chief Executive Officer. The engagement begins a multi-year agreement with the Koch Theater, the terms of which include two weeks of performances each Fall through 2015.
