The show opens with a Rubik's cube challenge. Yes you read that correctly. Because who hasn't participated in one of those? Let me say that the opening perfectly capsules the theme of the show, a bunch of geniuses and how they function. Let me also add that one time I had a Rubiks cube and it was the hardest thing I ever did. I wanted to give it up and just rearrange the stickers.

Can we just start this recap by establishing that Julie Chen looked great in that red dress? Then again, doesn't she always look good? I guess that's how it works when you're married to one of the bosses of CBS. Moving along now, last week it was a double eviction week (Jacosta and Hayden were both sent packing) and ever since then the house seems to be in shambles. With everyone starting to turn on each other I don't think there's a single person who feels safe.

The latest release, On The Way, from Negroni's Trio, the distinctive unit featuring the father/son team of multitalented Puerto Rican pianist/composer Jose Negroni and his son, the powerful gifted young drummer Nomar Negroni, celebrates the tenth anniversary of the Miami based ensemble that continues to garner international acclaim in jazz and world music circles. Jose Negroni, established the band in 2002 as a vehicle for his unique artistic vision, combining elements of jazz, AfroCaribbean and European classical musics. Utilizing the potent polyrhythmic sensibilities of Berklee educated Nomar Negroni, nominated in 2008 as Best Drummer of the Year by The Latin Jazz Corner, the group realizes a visionary music that is greater than the sum of its individual parts.
