'Nightline' Bests 'Letterman' for 13th Consecutive WeekJuly 15, 2010For the thirteenth consecutive week, ABC News 'Nightline' has outperformed CBS' 'Late Show with David Letterman' among Total Viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research. The last time this happened was in 2000. For the week of July 5, 2010, 'Nightline' was the number two program among A25-54, A18-49 and Total Viewers. Week to week, 'Nightline' grew +7% among A25-54, +12% among A18-49 and +1% among Total Viewers. Season to date, 'Nightline' posted 3.79 million Total Viewers, just 10,000 viewers away from first place.
FX Network Announced Fall Schedule with 'Anarchy,' 'Terriers' and 'Philadelphia'July 15, 2010FX has set its fall schedule with the return of three hit original series and the premiere of one new original drama. TNT's 'Men of a Certain Age' Season 1 Gets Nov. 2 DVD Release; Season 2 Permieres Nov. 29July 15, 2010TNT's hit television series Men of a Certain Age, starring Emmy(R) winner Ray Romano (Everybody Loves Raymond), Emmy winner Andre Braugher (Homicide: Life on the Street, TNT's Salem's Lot) and Golden Globe(R) winner Scott Bakula (Quantum Leap) will make its DVD debut Nov. 2 with the release of Men of a Certain Age Season 1. The release of the DVD will be followed by the premiere of the second season of Men of a Certain Age on Nov. 29 on TNT.
Warner Bros. to Run 'Nip/Tuck' in SyndicationJuly 15, 2010Logo announced today that it has acquired the off-cable syndication rights to the groundbreaking dramatic series 'Nip/Tuck' in a four-year licensing agreement with Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution. This deal marks the premiere for the series in syndication. The agreement includes all 100 episodes spanning the complete seven seasons of the Golden Globe(R) Award-winning and multiple Emmy(R) Award-nominated drama.
