Jessica Lewis Jessica has worked in theater for nearly ten years. She has worked in theatrical production for the producers of STOMP, DAMN YANKEES, NUNSENSE, DINNER WITH FRIENDS and more, and for over 5 years has been involved in the Whoopi Goldberg-produced White Noise, having discovered the production at the 2006 New York Musical Theatre Festival. She has since helped foster its growth through multiple large-scale workshops and two major commercial productions as an Associate Producer. After dedicating many years to theatrical and live entertainment production work that has taken her all over the world in 2009 she assumed the post of Senior Managing Editor at BroadwayWorld.com, the largest theater site on the net, for which she controls operations, routinely interviews Broadway's A-list talent and films/edits a bulk of the sites popular BWW TV content. She is a graduate of Brown University and has worked professionally in production for the Brown University Department of Theatre, Speech and Dance, Rights and Reasons Theatre, the New York Theatre Workshop and more.

The Collegiate Chorale, led by music director James Bagwell, announces its 69th season, including Brahms' Alto Rhapsody and A German Requiem, featuring Stephanie Blythe, Erin Morley, and Eric Owens, on October 13, 2010 at 7pm at Carnegie Hall; Knickerbocker Holiday on January 25 and 26, 2011 at 8pm at Alice Tully Hall; and two special events: We Remember Them: Choral Music from the Camps and the Ghettos on March 10, 2011 at 7pm at Central Synagogue, and Something Wonderful - A Night of Broadway with Deborah Voigt, conducted by Ted Sperling, on May 19, 2011 at 7pm at Carnegie Hall.

Tyler Perry's 'For Colored Girls...' Film Gets 11/5 Release

Tyler Perry's next film, For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf, which is set to star Janet Jackson, Whoopi Goldberg, Phylicia Rashad, Jurnee Smollett, Kimberly Elise, Kerry Washington, and Macy Gray, has been given a November 5 release date, Variety reveals. Filming began in June. The release had initially been announced for January 2011.

Theatre Ventures in association with Unique Features will present the new Broadway musical ELF, starring Tony® Award winner Beth Leavel (Emily), Tony® Award nominee Mark Jacoby (Walter), Matthew Gumley (Michael), Valerie Wright (Deb), Michael McCormick (Mr. Greenway), Michael Mandell (Store Manager) and six-time Emmy® Award winner George Wendt (Santa) this season. Full casting, including the lead roles of Buddy and Jovie, will be announced shortly.

On August 19, 2010, In The Heights welcomed Kyle Beltran as Broadway's resident bodega owner, 'Usnavi,' following the footsteps of Heights creator Lin-Manuel Miranda and, most recently, Corbin Bleu. No stranger to the show, or the part of 'Usnavi,' Beltran originated the lovable role on the First National Tour of In The Heights, which opened last October in Tampa.

THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS will open on Broadway on Sunday, October 31 at the Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street). Previews will begin on Thursday, October 7. Prior to Broadway, THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS is playing a limited engagement at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, MN. The production opened on July 31 and runs through September 25 on the McGuire Proscenium Stage.
