The good news is; Rick is alive. The bad news is; no word on Glenn. We didn't actually think that would all get wrapped up tonight, did we? No, the writers are way more diabolical than that.

Wouldn't it be nice if real life scandals were cleared up as poetically and swiftly as in Shondaland? Once again, tackling a topical and controversial subject, SCANDAL is moving on from the Impeachment. Can I get a Hallelujah?

We are back and Hakeem is still gone! Tonight, we not only found out what happened, but also, who is stupid enough to cross Cookie and Lucious Lyons.

I am convinced Robert Kirkman is trying to kill me. After last week's action-packed, high anxiety episode, I was almost thinking that he would take it easy on us this week. Instead, it was WAY worse and it leads me to ask the question, “DID THAT REALLY JUST HAPPEN?”

Lucious is officially a free man. Yay! All the Lyons' troubles are over. Just kidding, they're all miserable and that's why we tune in to watch.

Finding out the meaning of “JSS” turned out to be Robert Kirkman's advice to the viewing audience after watching that episode. We'll take a brief pause here as I do my best to get my pulse down to a normal level.

At long last the Gladiators are reassembling. Their mission? Save their bosses' reputation. Too bad her boyfriend is kind of difficult to get out of the headlines.

Well… that's ONE way to open a new season: pure and utter terror? Interesting choice. THE WALKING DEAD is back and they're certainly not wasting any time diving into the new season. In a Wizard of Oz-esque fashion, black and white is used to show what we, the audience have missed and color is used for present day in a poetic, as usual, season premiere.

After Olivia's shocking admission to the Press last week that she was, indeed, Fitzgerald Grant's mistress, we are privy to the chaotic, behind the scenes handling of such an admission. However, this time it is Olivia that needs to be handled and that is no easy task.

“Mend and charge home, or, by the fires of heaven, I'll leave the foe and make my wars on you.” Tonight's episode title, “Fires of Heaven” taken from the Shakespeare play Corialanus where Martius declares that he will forget his enemy and turn all his wars on you. Sounds about right?

It has finally arrived, the Season 6 Premiere of THE WALKING DEAD. The long summer is over and we are finally heading back to Alexandria… but, for how long? When last we left Rick, the future of the group's residency in the gated community seemed questionable. But before we journey forward, we must look back.

“The only way to survive a mad world is to embrace the madness.” - Wise words spoken by this Strand character. It was an intense finale for the first six episode arc of the new series, mirrored with some truly cinematic music and camera shots.

She said, “yes.” That was quite an astonishing turn of events in just one little word, now wasn't it? Shonda is able to shock us once again and we are only at episode two. SCANDAL doesn't give us time to breathe, that's for sure.

The Empire is still split in two as Cookie, Hakeem and Andre break out on their own to try and take down Jamal and Lucious. Will Lyon Dynasty even come close to Empire? If Lucious keeps dropping singles like he is, they don't stand a chance.

In the penultimate episode of the season, we are finally made aware of the Military's end game for the quarantined community. We've already lost one of our main characters this evening, will the rest be able to escape Operation Cobalt?

“Not all fairy tales have a happy ending,” the Queen of Caledonia (?) tells Olivia. Boy, is she right, on many levels. Welcome back, SCANDAL. We sure have missed you!

A multitude of guest stars, a concert, a cage and a cannibal, yes, all those things were in the Season Two premiere of EMPIRE. If you were worried about this season easing you into the action, rest assured, there is no rest for the wicked.

The long wait is finally over and SCANDAL will return on Thursday. Are Olivia and Fitz finally together? Are Cyrus and Mellie really out of Fitz's life? Are Huck and Quinn the only ones working at Pope and Associates now? Will David Rosen ever get more screen time? Before we look forward, let's look back where Season Four ended.
