'Dancing with the Stars' celeb professionals Louis Van Amstel and Jonathan Roberts will make guest appearances at MAMMOJAM 2010, a dance club benefit on April 1 at the Rise Club in the Hollywood and Highland Complex. Beginning at 7:00pm, this dance party is guaranteed to raise the roof, all the while raising money for The Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation's pioneering breast cancer research dedicated to moving beyond a cure and ending the disease, once and for all.

Christine Ebersole, Charles Busch and Jackie Hoffman have been announced to be guest judges at The Broadway Beauty Pageant, Broadway's fourth annual all-male beauty contest, set for Monday evening, April 19th, 8p.m., at Symphony Space (2537 Broadway at 95th St.). The popular event is the annual spring benefit of New York's Ali Forney Center. As previously announced, Four-time Tony nominated and Drama Desk Award-winning actress Tovah Feldshuh will host. Additional participants, including contestants, are to be announced.

Tonight, 'Idol' was forced to let go of the first of the top 12. After a night of good performances, it's tough to see the performers go home, but it's clear that some deserve it more than others. The bottom three on the night were Lacey Brown, Paige Miles, and Tim Urban, the three performers who had the weakest performances. The drama was high tonight, as 'Idol' as we found out who would be the first to go.

'Idol' has finally reached the top 12 contestants of season nine, where they make the jump from a small, intimate stage to the full audience at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles. This is where the eventual 'Idol' winner will be crowned and it presents a new set of challenges to the singers, who now have a fill a much larger space with their talent. Luckily, many of the contestants were able to step up immediately, as the performances tonight were, in general, very strong. It was an excellent showing and proved why each of the contestants has earned their way into the top 12.

On Monday, April 12th DO40 will present its first-ever song and dance concert to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Project Achieve and the NYC HIV Vaccine Trials Unit. Former gypsy and perennial television star Valerie Harper (right), on the heels of her new Broadway show, LOOPED, will make a special appearance along with guests Anita Gillette (photo, bottom right) and Marge Champion. DO40 members will be heavily represented, and guests from the ballet and modern world will also appear and donate their performances for these important causes.
