Lily Rabe will play Mary Pickford in a biopic movie based on Eileen Whitfield's book 'Mary Pickford: The Woman Who Made Hollywood', according to Deadline.com. Scheduled to begin shooting in early 2013, the film will boast a scrip written by Josh Fagin.

American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) Director of Education Elizabeth Brodersen announced today the successful completion of A.C.T.'s first-year partnership with Downtown Continuation High School-a project-based public school in the San Francisco Unified School District dedicated to serving teenagers who have not experienced success in traditional comprehensive high schools-and their new Acting for Critical Thought project.

Now celebrating its 20th Anniversary, The Blank Theatre's Nationwide Young Playwrights Festival has chosen 12 plays by young playwrights, aged 9 -19, from nine different states. The Amoralists have announced the World Premiere of The Bad and the Better, written by Derek Ahonen, directed by Obie Award winner Daniel Aukin and featuring The Amoralists acting ensemble. The acclaimed downtown theater company moves uptown for a 6-week Off-Broadway run from June 14 - July 21, 2012 at The Peter Jay Sharp Theater, located at 416 West 42 Street between 9 and 10 Avenues in New York City.
