Woodhaven Productions will present 'Rue Royale', a play about a recent college graduate who returns home to New Orleans following news of her father's terminal illness, as part of the 10-day Los Angeles Fringe Festival, June 14 through 24, 2012.

The world premiere production of AMERICAN STARES by Tony Glazer, a dark comedy that exploring the emotions, intentions and actions of South Florida's disenfranchised lower class citizens, will play June 14 through July 22 at New Jersey Repertory Company located at 179 Broadway in Long Branch. The cast for Thursday, June 7th, in the ever-changing Broadway Ballyhoo concert series, has just been announced. The four stars kicking off the Ballyhoo's seventh smash month at Feinstein's will be the star who played Tony in the Broadway revival of West Side Story, Matt Cavenaugh, the beautiful young actress who played Meg in the Broadway production of Little Women, Jenny Powers, one of Broadway's great Elphaba's in Wicked, Julia Murney, and the acclaimed nightclub star who will be holding court during the dinner show at Feinstein's, Maude Maggart.

David Leonard will take over the role of Miss Trunchbull from Tuesday 3 July 2012 and Annette McLaughlin will join the company as Mrs Wormwood from Tuesday 21 August 2012. Bertie Carvel's last performance as Miss Trunchbull will take place on Sunday 1 July and Josie Walker will perform as Mrs Wormwood for the last time on Sunday 19 August.

When Craig Smith talks of the many reasons he bought the Alhambra in August of 2009, he often gets teary-eyed telling the story of his daughter, Macy's, first live theater experience almost 10 years ago - the Wizard of Oz at the Alhambra. So this summer has a special feel to it for Smith as the Alhambra opens its 2012 summer family show on June 6 with the Wizard of Oz.
