The 2013 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway were handed last night to recipients in 14 categories and 4 special honors were bestowed. The Lortel Awards were distributed in a ceremony at NYU Skirball Center hosted by acclaimed stage and screen actors Aasif Mandvi and Maura Tierney. This past Friday, May 3, The Tenors performed at The NYCB Theatre at Westbury. Their PBS special has been airing on WNET TV 13 and WLIV TV 21 in the tristate area, and pledge people were treated to a wonderful evening of music, and some even a Meet and Greet with the singers after the show. Last night, April 29, The New York Pops marked its 30th birthday with a grand gala evening honoring the musical talents of songwriters Frank Loesser and Jule Styne, and the centennial of legendary entertainer Danny Kaye. World-renowned Tenor Anthony Kearns, the original founding member of The Irish Tenors, recently performed a benefit show for: OASIS-A Haven for Women and Children. The concert took place April 27, 2013 at 7:00PM at Patricia Sollitto Performing Arts Center, Immaculate Heart Academy, 500 Van Emburgh Avenue, Washington Township, NJ.

The 13th Annual Monte Cristo Award was presented to Mr. Plummer by fellow stage and film legend Kevin Spacey. Mr. Spacey was the recipient of the Monte Cristo Award in 2009. Hunter Ryan Herdlicka just made his 54 Below debut after almost two years starring on Broadway in the Tony Award Winning revival of Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music, playing opposite Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury, followed by Bernadette Peters and Elaine Stritch. Last night, March 25, Hunter performed his new show 'You Make Me Feel So Young' that recently played to sold-out crowds at the Austin Cabaret Theatre in Austin, TX.
