Berkeley Rep Adds Performances of Popular Snicket Show Through 1/16December 21, 2010The Composer lives on! Berkeley Repertory Theatre's irreverent holiday show - Lemony Snicket's The Composer is Dead - has proven so popular that the Tony Award-winning nonprofit has added performances in January. Howard County Center for the Arts Features Two New Exhibits, Fastidious Studies & Source 1/14-2/25December 21, 2010The Howard County Arts Council announces the opening on January 14, 2011 of two new exhibits in the galleries at the Howard County Center for the Arts Gallery I will showcase three Maryland artists who have used light as a subject matter. The exhibit, entitled Source, features a video installation by Symmes Gardner, selfilluminated light totems and wall sculptures by Melissa Burley, and stunningly simple black & white photography by Lynn Silverman. In Gallery II, small and meticulous is the theme in Fastidious Studies with embroidery pieces by Catonsville artist Suzanne Herbert-Forton, photography by Maryland artist Anne Chan, and sculpture by North Dakota artist Donovan Widmer.
