It has one year since GLEE star Cory Monteith unexpectedly passed away. Even so, his fans, friends, and family have not forgotten him. Many who knew him took to Twitter today to honor his passing. ET Canada also caught up with Monteith's father, whose relationship was strained with his son at the time of his passing. “Dateline NBC” (1.2/6 in 18-49, 6.1 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) grew +20% versus its prior Friday telecast of three weeks ago (1.0 on June 20) and was up +1% in total viewers (6.090 million vs. 6.021 million) to its biggest Friday overall audience since May 30. “Dateline” is #1 in the time period among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, total viewers, adults, men and women 25-54 and other key demographics.

Tommy Ramone, the original drummer for The Ramones, passed away at 62 on July 11. The announcement was made on The Ramones' official Facebook page. They included a quote by Tommy, 'It wasn't just music in The Ramones: it was an idea. It was bringing back a whole feel that was missing in rock music – it was a whole push outwards to say something new and different. Originally it was just an artistic type of thing; finally I felt it was something that was good enough for everybody.'

Back in February, BroadwayWorld reported that NBC ordered 13 episodes for a new stand-alone story arc entitled Heroes Reborn, with all details of storylines and characters being kept tightly under wraps. However, NBC teased that the original cast members could make an appearance. Now, according to IGN, Zachary Quinto, who played the villainous Sylar, has spoken about potentially returning.

Showtime's Homeland is gearing up for a major creative overhaul for its 4th season. Following the departure of Damian Lewis, the leading man, at the end of season 3, the show plans to make major changes to the cast list and setting. Showrunner Alex Gansa revealed some of the upcoming changes in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
