Two of Brooklyn's most prestigious repertory companies - Brave New World Repertory Theatre and Company XIV - have announced their first-ever collaboration on The Halloween Plays, three spooky and original one-act plays suitable for both adults and young adults. The Halloween Plays runs from October 21 - 31, 2010 at Company XIV's theatre space, located at 303 Bond Street, between Union & Sackett in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn.

A meet and greet was recently held for the cast and crew of the AFTER THE REVOLUTION at Playwrights Horizons, a new play by Amy Herzog (Missed Connections, 508 at Ars Nova, Hungry at EST). Directed by Carolyn Cantor (Essential Self-Defense at PH, Pumpgirl, Orange Water Flower), the production will begin previews Thursday, October 21 at 7:30 PM. With an Opening Night set for Tuesday, November 9 at 7PM, the limited engagement will play through Sunday, November 28 at Playwrights Horizons' Peter Jay Sharp Theater (416 West 42nd Street). Celebration Theatre is thrilled to present the second show in its 2010-2011 Season of Shows, the Tony Award-winning play, TAKE ME OUT, written by Richard Greenberg and directed by Michael Matthews and produced for Celebration Theatre by Nicholas Caprio, Michael C.
