Reuters reported Thursday that NASA expects Phantom of the Opera star Sarah Brightman to blast off for a 10-day stay on the International Space Station this October. The trip has been arranged through private American firm Space Adventures, and will cost Brightman $52 million.

Kinky Boots took South Korea by storm earlier this year, marking the first international production of the Tony-winning musical. Now according to the Korea Joongang Daily, the musical has taken home top prizes at this year's 9th Annual Musical Awards. The show was awarded not only 'Musical of the Year,' but Kang Hong-seok, who played Lola, also earned a 'Best Lead Actor' award from the Korea Musical Theater Association.
