- Review: JUDY COLLINS & FRIENDS: 85 YEARS OF PROTEST & MUSIC Stuns at The Town Hall - This was special because just a month earlier, I was at brunch with two friends I'd not seen since high school in 1974. Who was at the next table? Judy Collins! We acknowledged her and let her know how much she was a part of our formative years. When I learned she would be at Town Hall, I stepped up to review her, and brought the friend who started the conversation with Judy Collins.
- Review: JOHN PIZZARELLI & THE SWING 7 Are in Excellent Form at Birdland Jazz - I've seen Pizzarelli more than any other artist, at least 30 times going back to 1986, and we shared a song in a movie (Two Family House) -- I was the singing voice of the lead actor, and we both sang it to the same backing track.
- Review: GOING BACHARACH at Marjorie S. Dean Little Theater Is a Terrific Tribute - It got excellent feedback, especially from the person who led the music, who noted that I caught things no other reviewer did.
- Review: Singer-Songwriter Anthony Nunziata Warmed the Heart at Café Carlyle - Cafe Carlyle. Need I say more?
- Review: BRANDON MAGGART AND THE GARDENIA at The Gardenia - I really got to branch out here, interviewing this performer at length, writing about his final show, and writing about the end of a legendary venue. I've gotten very good feedback for it.
