• Review: HOLIDAY at Arena Stage - I had reviewed a different production of the same play decades before and it was enlightening to return to the work having had more life, artistic, and critical experience.
• BWW Review: REMEMBER THIS: THE LESSON OF JAN KARSKI, at the Michael R. Klein Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre Company - It was an opportunity to see the incredibly accomplished David Strathairn in a particularly ambitious, difficult work. He did not disappoint.
• BWW Review: NORM LEWIS AND THE NATIONAL SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA at Wolf Trap's Filene Center - It was among the first live performances I reviewed or attended after the Covid-19 lockdown, and it gave me an opportunity to think about the production but also about the beautiful and poignant rituals and routines surrounding any production.
