Jesse Tyler Ferguson is helping out Betty's move to Wednesdays with a little dental comedy. On January 6, Ferguson is reprising his role from season one of the hit show as Betty's orthodontist. As told to Ew.com, Ferguson says 'It's a really fun scene between the two of them.'

Palestine, New Mexico celebrated it's opening night on Sunday, December 13 at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. Written by Richard Montoya for Culture Clash and directed by Lisa Peterson, Palestine, New Mexico is set on an American Indian reservation in the Southwest, and follows the fate of Army Captain Siler who has returned from Iraq with a secret she just can't hold on to any more. She is determined to set the record straight about the death of the tribal chief's son, but she discovers she is considered a dangerous outsider rather than a messenger of truth. In the battle to tell her story she unleashes far more history than anyone wanted to hear, or tell.

Actor F. Murray Abraham, best known for his Oscar-winning role in 1984's 'Amadeus' is debuting a one night only concert (that he put together himself) at Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall. Cindy Adams could not conceive of him singing (much less debuting at such an iconic high stakes venue) and asked him about it for the New York Post.

Multitalented Neil Patrick Harris is set to step behind the camera and direct an episode of 'How I Met Your Mother' this week, which will air on January 18. Though a series regular, this will mark Harris's directing debut, and a rarity for the show as Pamela Fryman has directed 92 of 'How I Met Your Mother's' 97 episodes.

Entertainment Weekly has reported that Jane Leeves will guest star on at least two episodes of ABC's Desperate Housewives this season as a psychotherapist for desperate husband and father Tom Scavo (Doug Savant) to help him deal with his mid-life crisis. Her character is reported to show up on the show in late January.

Geordie Productions has extended their new theatrical adaptation of the classic holiday favourite, Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Adapted by Alexandria Haber, and in co-production with Concordia University's Department of Theatre, this sophisticated production - and largest of the company's history - will now be presented on Geordie's Mainstage at the D.B. Clarke Theatre now through December 20.

The Centaur Theatre Company is set to run their third season of Urban Tales, the English version of Théâtre Urbi et Orbi's 'Contes Urbaines' which has been presented every season since 1991. This season Urban Tales brings together four renowned Montreal artists to tell eight stories, all written by poet, playwright, producer, translator, publisher Yvan Bienvenue, with the theme of 'a day in the life of the city.'
