Abby is a lifelong theater lover, both onstage and offstage. Growing up in the Milwaukee area, she began going to the theater with her family around the age of 4 and grew up in and around the SE Wisconsin arts scene. She acted in and student directed over a dozen community and school theater productions and has seen too many productions to count, ranging from local theater to Broadway and everything in between. She was nominated for numerous Tommy Awards (now Jimmy Awards) and was in multiple award winning productions. Since moving to Washington DC in 2020, she has become an avid consumer of theater in DC, and currently has a goal to see a production at every theater in the area! While she tends to gravitate towards musical theater, she has a newfound interest in cutting edge and thought provoking productions, which the DC region has many of. By day, Abby is a public servant in the human services field, and in her free time, she can be found at a concert at one of the many DC music venues, reading or crafting at home with her dog, or playing one of her guitars.
