Our readers set the nominees, and now voting is open for the 2021 BroadwayWorld Austria Awards! The 2021 Regional Awards honor productions which had their first performance between October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021.

Voting is now open through December 31st! Winners will be announced in January.
Streaming productions are eligible this year in the categories designated as such. This year BroadwayWorld is also allowing audiences to vote on which theatres they are most excited to return to, and which productions they are most excited to see.

The acting school Schauspielschule Krauss has announced plans for its 75th anniversary celebration. Throughout the year, the city of Vienna celebrates the school's long and rich history with a series of theatre performances, scenic and multimedia readings, and musical entertainment.
On Saturday, September 23, “Space Eye” will begin operations in the Gantrisch Nature Park near Bern: a multimedia visitor center that communicates current research on space and the environment and makes Switzerland’s largest public telescope as well as an 8K planetarium accessible to interested people of all ages.
After three years on the green campus of Johannes Kepler University, Ars Electronica returned from 6th – 10th September to perform in the reinforced concrete gray halls and catacombs of POSTCITY as well as at 13 other locations in downtown Linz.
