Windows on the World by Colette F.Keen is a one act play that focuses on the perspective of individuals who were in New York on 9/11 and how this event has shaped and influenced their lives in the 10 years since. Colette was able to interview a broad range of people that had varied experiences on the day, from poets to administrators, actors to IT professionals, and also a group of high level FDNY fire-fighters, including the Port Authority Battalion.
The play deals with the very personal stories of the contributors, New Yorker's who saw the face of their city change forever. These stories unfold out of the rubble of that day in 2001 and create a picture of the everyday people that were affected by the attack. Set in a cityscape of paper skyscrapers that reminds us of how temporary life can really be, the stories of these 13 people are realised by 5 performers.
