Blessed with super-model looks, fabulous legs and a glamorous 1.8m stature, Rhonda Burchmore has spent her entire life dazzling audiences with her precision-perfect dance steps, commanding stage presence, superb comic timing, effervescent personality, and most of all, that stunning voice. She's rubbed shoulders with the who's who of Australian showbiz and in her book, has a funny or touching story to tell about almost every one of them. Rhonda played alongside friend and great Australian actor, Garry McDonald, in the Australian production of the Broadway hit, Sugar Babies. Producers were so impressed with Rhonda's performance that they invited her to repeat her role opposite Mickey Rooney and Anne Miller at London's West End Theatre. It was from here that Rhonda's career began to skyrocket! Rhonda says one of the greatest experiences of her performing life was the role of Tanya in the ABBA music production show, Mamma Mia. By this stage of her career, Rhonda says she had become accustomed to not having to audition for roles, but this time had to win the final approval of ABBA's Bjorn Ulvaes and Benny Andersson, who had flown to Australia to oversee the final casting.
