By: BWW News Desk
Em O'Loughlin, National Raw Comedy winner, is set to present her ode to the elderly woman, LADIES LOUNGE, as part of Melbourne Fringe at The Butterfly Club. The production begins tonight, October 9 and continues through October 14.
LADIES LOUNGE is made up of a bevy of loony ladies, characters borne from the vivid imaginings of Em and Australian playwright Mark Bourne (Wherefore Are Thee) the show is brimming with baggages and mired in the post-menopausal. From slightly scary am-dram doyennes to a brash Irish Grandmother, the Ladies Lounge is bustling.
LADIES LOUNGE plays on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday evenings at 8 PM, and Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 9 PM. Tickets are available via www.melbournefringe.com.au.
