Wavemakers Summer Sonic Social at Radio East

Wavemakers Women & Music presents its second quarterly Sonic Social, a live music showcase and community gathering featuring four singer/songwriters: Suzanna Choffel, Lou Priest, Claudia Gibson, and Emily McLoud. Choffel brings two decades of Texas music history spanning beat poetry, soul, and indie-pop; Lou Priest moves between soul, R&B, folk, and jazz and has shared stages with Sting, Questlove, and Snoop Dogg. Claudia Gibson writes at the intersection of folk, bluegrass, Celtic, and soul, and is a Kerrville New Folk finalist and Woody Guthrie Songwriting Contest winner, while Emily McLoud offers roots-woven songs informed by her work as a hospice nurse practitioner. The event is part of Wavemakers' mission to amplify and celebrate experienced women artists aged 40 and over.
