SongBits Partners With British Music Embassy At SXSW, activations March 11 - 12, 2023 at Cedar Street Courtyard

Songbits, a game-changing new platform that creates all-new levels of fan engagement, quick and effective new revenue streams and vital new data insights for artists and labels, partners with the British Music Embassy and South Asian House this year at SXSW with activations on Saturday, March 11 and Sunday, March 12. On Saturday the 11th, Songbits will be at the British Music Embassy (located at 208 W 4th St, Austin, TX 78701) for their opening night reception at 7 p.m. This event is invite only. Then on Sunday the 12th, Songbits will again be at the British Music Embassy where their artist AyseDeniz will be performing. This event kicks off at 7 p.m. Lastly, Songbits artist Kiss Nuka will be performing at South Asian House (located at 208 W 4th St, Austin, TX 78701) the evening of Sunday, March 12 from 10 p.m. onwards. SXSW badges required for entrance to both Songbits events on the 11th and 12th.

Songbits was built by artists, for artists by Russell and Justin Sheffield, (whose father founded Trident Studios and discovered Queen), and backed by Dave Stewart, (award-winning singer, songwriter, musician, producer, innovator and Eurythmics co-founder who was a 2022 inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame). Songbits platform has grown exponentially since announcing their launch last year at SXSW – they have been busy signing up new artists and working on launches for Mat.Joe, KayOrAlpha, Steve Brian, Andy Moor ft. Sarah de Warren, Nash ft. Christina Novelli and Dennis Sheperd. Their launch with artist Ashley Wallbridge (Creamfields, Tomorrowland) proved hugely successful when it went live last month with the release selling out in just 34 minutes, making an impressive $20,000 in streaming revenue for the artist and immediately proved vast and instant value in partnering with the platform to launch music in an innovative way, even for pre-existing tracks.
